– How to create a Dataset based on a basic query.
– Developing your first RDL. Meeting Main section, Header and Footer.
Session 2
– How to use built-in fields in your report like page number, execute time, etc.
– Developing an RDL with a query using fields from multiple tables (Joins)
– Using different type of expressions doing some calculations
– Looking for specific data in an RDL.
– How to export an RDL to Excel, PDF, and other formats.
Session 3
– How to use a parameter from SQL Data Tools in an RDL
– How to sort the data in an RDL
– Developing an RDL with a parameter from the query.
– Developing an RDL with cascade parameters
Session 4
– Developing an RDL with groups and group headers and totals.
– Developing an RDL running a stored procedure.
– Using conditional formats in an RDL.
– Using Charts in SSRS.
Session 5
– Creating a Project from scratch.
– Create queries or procedures based on the Case Study.
– Create the RDLs needed according to the requirements.
Every topic will be done with real world use cases, using many examples that allow you to see how the real work is in a role related to BI Developer, Reporting Developer, or Data Analyst.
